2. Keep mobile phones well away from the recording device and if possible turn them off.
3. Record your audio in a quiet office with the doors shut. Eliminate as much background noise as possible.
4. Only one speaker at a time. Speak clearly and spell out any names, unusual words or terminology specific to your business.
5. Advise your transcriptionist of speaker names, their roles and the dates of the dictation.
